A café and gallery on Princelet Street in Spitalfields — lever-pulled espresso, slow filter, pastries, and rotating exhibitions of local artists.
The espresso is pulled on a vintage lever — slow, mechanical, gentle on the bean. We rotate two single origins on filter, and one house blend for milk drinks. The board behind the counter tells you what's on today.

The beans change every fortnight; the bakes change every morning. Here's what's on the board this week.

We bake croissants, cardamom buns and sourdough each morning before the doors open. A slice or two of cake lands by ten. When it's gone, it's gone — and tomorrow is a different bake.

We rent wall space to local artists by the month. Hang your work where Spitalfields drinks its coffee — choose a size, send us a link, and we'll find you a spot in the next rotation.
61 Princelet Street, London E1 5LP. Ground floor.
Open Monday–Friday. Coffee from 8 (10 at weekends). Pastries until they're gone. The kettle's almost always on.
